The SMC ZH-X185 is a flow amplifier (air amplifier) with no moving parts: it uses the Coandă effect and turns one part of compressed air into up to four times the air flow, most of which is entrained ambient air. According to SMC, compressed air consumption in blowing applications falls by around 70%.
