The SMC AXTS040-X202 converts continuous blowing into pulsed blowing and thus saves compressed air. It works purely pneumatically with a built-in pilot valve and needs no electrical control.

- Operating pressure: 0.2 to 1.0 MPa (the inlet pressure must not fall below 0.2 MPa during operation), proof pressure 1.5 MPa
- Pulse frequency: 1 to 12 Hz, ON and OFF time adjustable separately with needles
- Nominal size 1/2, flow 3,316 l/min (ANR), Cv 3.4
- Port thread: Rc, G, NPT or NPTF
- Metal seal, lubrication-free, fluid and ambient temperature –5 to 50 °C (no freezing)
- Weight approx. 1,400 g
- Installed between an existing blow valve and the nozzle; little dependence on pipe diameter, pipe length and nozzle type
According to SMC, consumption can be reduced by up to 50%; in an application example for tool cooling it fell from 697 to 302 l/min. The values are manufacturer data and depend on the individual case.
