The Bürkert 2052 is a modular pneumatic rotary actuator for mounting on valves such as ball valves and butterfly valves. The NAMUR and ISO 5211 interfaces allow standard-compliant mounting of valves and accessories; with the SideCONTROL positioner the actuator can be extended into a control actuator.

- Type: single-acting (spring return) or double-acting piston actuator with 90° rotation
- Torque, aluminium: double-acting approx. 7.9–631 Nm (3–8 bar), single-acting approx. 4.1–435 Nm
- Torque, polyamide: double-acting approx. 7.9–224 Nm, single-acting approx. 4.1–158 Nm
- Control pressure: 3–8 bar; temperature range: –32 to +90 °C
- Control medium: filtered compressed air with or without oil, or water
- Materials: anodised aluminium or glass-fibre-reinforced polyamide, polyarylamide piston, NBR seals
- Mounting: ISO 5211 and NAMUR (VDI/VDE 3845), pilot air port G 1/4
- Accessories: position feedback (also Ex versions), SideControl positioner
