AKO Pinch Valves: Water Treatment and Wastewater Plants
Wastewater treatment plants typically run through mechanical, biological and chemical treatment stages, each producing different media – from coarse debris and activated sludge to chemicals for phosphate precipitation. Sludge conveying in particular places high demands on wear resistance and clogging resistance. AKO pinch valves reliably convey solids-rich, partly highly abrasive media without clogging on sharp edges or narrow gaps, and are also suitable for precise chemical dosing.
