AKO Pinch Valves: Environmental and Process Engineering

Case study
A port management operator had to remove sediment deposits from harbour channels and coastal waters, which were traditionally cleared with dredgers. AKO supplied VF valves (DN50 and 100) with wear-resistant natural rubber sleeves to control sediment suction and transport – more efficient than conventional dredging, with only occasional sleeve replacement over many years.
