AKO Pinch Valves: Ceramics Industry
In the ceramics industry – from decorative household ceramics to technical high-performance ceramics – raw materials such as aluminium oxide, zirconium oxide or silicon carbide consist of extremely sharp-edged, highly abrasive particles that quickly wear out conventional valves. AKO pinch valves have no internals in the flow path, so fine ceramic powders or slip cannot form deposits or stick, and their robust sleeve withstands permanent abrasion considerably longer.
