The SMC IZN10E is a compact nozzle ionizer with its own high-voltage supply. It generates ions with high-frequency AC voltage and blows them onto the target as an air-assisted cone. Suited to targeted, tightly confined locations.

- Ion generation: internal high voltage with high-frequency AC
- Ion balance: ±10 V (depending on range)
- Supply: 24 V DC; connections for PLC inputs/outputs and power
- Air supply pressure depending on nozzle: 0.05 to 0.1 MPa (circular diffusion, flat diffusion, straight bar, ø6 mm fitting with tube), 0.05 to 0.15 MPa (circumferential jet bar, bender tube, long nozzles), 0.05 to 0.3 MPa (ø8 mm fitting with 5 mm I.D. tube)
- Range: according to SMC, focused targets of about 2 inches (around 50 mm) or smaller at up to 20 inches (around 500 mm) distance
- Optional sensor and monitor: ion emission can be stopped once neutralisation is complete or when no workpiece is present
