The SMC VBA is a pressure booster regulator that doubles the pressure at a single point. This allows the plant's line pressure to be lowered while consumers with high force requirements continue to work locally at higher pressure.

- Inlet pressure up to 20 bar
- Set pressure 0.2 to 2.0 MPa
- Max. flow 230 l/min (ANR)
- Port G 1/4, three pneumatic connections
- Temperature 2 to 50 °C (no freezing)
- With manual adjustment, relief mechanism, pressure gauge and silencer
- Weight approx. 840 g
- Further sizes in the series with larger ports (up to G 1/2)
In line with SMC's 4BAR Factory idea: the operating pressure in the plant is lowered and only individual applications such as clamping or pressing are boosted locally. The values are manufacturer data and depend on the individual case.
